Serena Cooper, the Director and owner of “The Heart of Rosena Incorporated” Nonprofit agency and Podcast personality known as "The Voice" uses her platform to promote Biblical understanding, self-love and confidence through outdoor confidence building activities like hiking and boxing.
   Raised in Hampton, Virginia by her mother and grandmother, who emphasized the importance of education and love despite limited financial means, Serena overcame self-esteem struggles during her teenage years and a fatal bombing attack during her second combat deployment to Afghanistan as a young officer in the United States Army, a journey that led to the creation of the nonprofit named after her grandmother, Rosena Tisdale.
   In 2008, Serena gave her first speech titled "The Greatest Investment" at the Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer breakfast Scholarship function where she shared her story of overcoming challenges and finding her strength through God, leading to invitations to speak at other events and receiving the Norveleate Downing Gross Achievement award for being a community leader and role model for young adults. Even after retiring as a United States Army Commissioned Officer, Serena continues to dedicate her time to spreading a message of encouragement nationwide.
